> Conference aims and programme
The first national conference of the All Wales Needle Exchange Forum was a resounding success thanks to a turnout of well over 200 delegates with, between them, a wealth of experience and knowledge working with and around injecting drug users and needle exchange services in Wales.
The conference provided both an ideal environment for networking across the range of delegates including service providers, service users, commissioners and policy makers, as well as the opportunity to engage at the conception of the All Wales Needle Exchange Forum (WNEF) and hear first hand the aims and objectives which the Forum is designed to address. The afternoon open debate offered the opportunity to voice opinion, experience and unique perspective on those issues raised during the morning, providing invaluable feedback to progress future development of the Forum.
